Fresh Perspectives is a juried art exhibition that takes place each year at the Morris Museum in Morristown, NJ. It is a unique initiative that recognizesthe incredible talent and creativity of high students in New Jersey. Inviting submissions from art teachers throughout the state, the Museum hopes to advance the originality, hard work, and artistic talent expressed in a variety of media. This year 119 teachers from 39 schools submitted 437 works of art created by high school students. They only selected 50 to include. Congratulations to my students Christa Pieper and Tatiana Florival! The exhibition is open to the public from April 11 through June 9, 1013. "The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world."
