Some times we need to stop and "stretch" our creativity! We often do this in our journals. Drawing & Painting II students created these fantastic painted pages using tempera paint, collage, dollies, and some inspiration from the future. Students wrote letters to themselves that will be opened in a year and are contained in a pocket on their journal page. Students then had the opportunity to go to Futureme.org and type their letter in so that it could be emailed to them at a date they determine. The letter could be sent in a year, two or even fifty years later.
"The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world."
