I saw this recently and just found it so appropriate for art. This quote belongs to Hall of Fame basketball player/coach John Wooden, who was not only well aware that it’s okay to regularly make mistakes but that you’re doing something wrong if you don’t. We often expect that we should be able to do everything perfectly and we are scared to mess up or make a mistake. But it is from those mistakes that we grow and learn. So make mistakes, take chances and remember in art it often about the process and not just the end product. What do you think?
"The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world."
