Drawing & Painting II students just completed their Skull A Day project. Taking the lead from artists Noah Scalin and his Skull A Day project students used the human skull as inspiration to explore the image using mixed media. Each day students were suprised with a new medium and had a class period to complete the single image. All of the images were put together into a grid composition. Then using smaller digital versions of their artwork they made skull minibooks. Check out the rest of the projects by clicking the Drawing & Painting II above to look at their online gallery.
"The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world."
