Last week Drawing & Painting I students completed their unit on value and shading. Each student brought in a special pair of shoes to work from. While drawing from observation, students paid careful attention to the details in the shoes,like the textures, creases and overlapping shapes. After transferring their rough drawing to good paper, everyone used a wide variety of drawing pencils to create all of the different values in their shoes.
