Drawing & Painting II students wrapped up the week completing all of their hands and insect drawings for their surrealism project. Next week we will officially take a look at compositions and how we can best organize the elements within our drawing. A few students started to experiment with their compositions using the light table to physically move around all of the parts of their image. This gives students the change to overlap, tilt, and layer images before going to the good paper. Great start everyone!
"The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world."
