Today my AP Art students critiqued their concentration work so far (#1-#6). At the mid way point we were looking for some key criteria using a rubric aligned to the CollegeBoard grading guide. This is by far my favorite critique we do all year. Each student writes their concentration statement down and displays their work so far. Each student moves around the room, using the rubric, and leaves a score, suggestion and strength for each member of their class. See all the post it notes! Students get valuable feedback and are able to apply the information direction into their next concentration. They can also go back and work on old pieces to improve. Each student keeps their post it notes to ponder over. I am always so pleased to see how accurate they are in their assessments! Great JOB!
