Drawing & Painting I Period 5 & 2 Just completed their marble drawings in colored pencil. Using a variety of colored pencil techniques and their knowledge of color theory students focused on the wide variety of value and color within each marble. Students worked on a gray paper as their base, creating bright highlights using Prismacolor brand colored pencils. The waxy nature of the pencils allowed for smooth fades to create the transparent, smooth surface of the marble.
