Drawing & Painting II students worked from observation and put their mixed media skills to work today. They used watersoluable oil pastels and graphite to draw strands of rope that were twisting and turning into knots. Focusing on a small area students were able to pay careful attention to the light shadows that change as the rope overlaps and coils.
"The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world."
