Okay...I know we finished these awhile ago but they are finally on line in our Drawing & Painting I Galleries. Students brought in shoes and set them up on the table. They carefully observed the shapes, lines, textures and patterns and rendered the final drawing in pencil. Students learned to use a variety of pencil techniques and payed careful attention to the value (lights and darks) of their shoe.
