At the end of the year, AP Art Drawing student and class of 2016 graduate, Mary Dvorksy, entered the Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Art Contest. The contest asks students to create a piece of artwork that is inspired by an issue that impacts our oceans such as pollution, conservation and environmental impacts on the ecosystem. Mary, who is currently in college studying art, won honorable mention! Her artwork was fantastic and stood out from the 1,200+ high school entries from around the world. Congratulations!
The 2017 Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Art contest is now open. Let Mrs. Amme know if you are interested in entering. Check out the link to see more information http://fromthebowseat.org
