Yesterday my AP Studio Art Drawing students participated in a round robin critique of their concentration work. Each student displayed their work that they completed so far this year and placed it some where in the room. The room quickly became filled with artwork! Then each student went around to each persons portfolio and gave feedback for them using post it notes. Students were looking at the AP Rubric for concentrations and formulating valuable suggestions for each of their classmates. It was wonderful to see students responding to each others work and coming up with fantastic feedback. When all was said and done, students collected their post it notes and took time to look over all of the comments.
"The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world."
