Earlier this week I attended and and presented at the Art Educator's of New Jersey Conference. Ms. Lentini-Pombrio and I shared our successful Youth Art Month activities with a fantastic group of art teachers from all around the state. This hands-on workshop allowed the teachers to try out three of our YAM activities. We even created a small tree of hope and a large YAM floor puzzle. After completing the hands-on activities we shared three additional projects they could do with their school, community and faculty.
"The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world."
